Your back hand grabs the toeside edge near the nose while your back leg straightens. A stylish grab that follows naturally once your basic jump grabs feel easy.
How to
Jump with height
Send the kite to 12 o'clock and pop hard so you have plenty of hang time.
Bring the nose up
Tuck your front knee high so the nose comes toward your chest.
Reach across the front
Let go with your back hand and grab the toeside edge between your front foot and the nose.
Bone out the back leg
Straighten your back leg to tweak the board while you hold the grab.
Let go early
Release before you start dropping, back hand to the bar, and land downwind.
Common mistakes
Grabbing near the binding
Reach further toward the nose and pull your front knee up to meet your hand.
Back leg stays bent
Push your back foot away to straighten the leg once you have the grab.
